About
This event has changed to Friday 8th October.
Otis Ingrams is a leather worker committed to sourcing, developing and employing British materials. Join Otis on Friday 8th October to hear how he uses both traditional and contemporary techniques to create his products, from the tools he uses to the materials and tanning processes.
Otzi leather studio was started in 2013; focusing on a fusion of traditional techniques with contemporary design that use the finest, sustainably produced vegetable and pit tanned leathers from the UK and Europe. The studio works predominantly on furniture and interior design, showcasing the inherent beauty and many qualities of leather, utilising both large panels to highlight the grain and the smallest pieces to minimize waste. Otis has worked with a wide range of clients, including Chloe, Heatherwick Studio, Olympus and Wallpaper Handmade and many interior designers on both large and small scale works. Otzi pieces are stocked by The New Craftsmen in the UK and Roman & Williams Guild and Nickey Kehoe in the US.
