Join luxury Scottish-based designer Mati Ventrillon to discover more about her skills-focused Fair Isle Artisans project and her unique approach to modern craftsmanship.

Learn about Shetland’s inspiring landscape, Shetland sheep and the wool’s journey from sheep to garment. Mati demonstrates the detailed process of making an Artisans garment and exhibits a few of the pieces from her collection. These are displayed alongside the swatches and prototypes involved in their development.

Visitors can access audio-visual content and hear testimonials from her Artisans and other Shetland makers and wool producers, to take them on a virtual journey of Shetland and Fair Isle.

Mati has partnered with Taste of Shetland, Promote Shetland, Shetland wool producers and local talent to create a unique, immersive experience during the evening reception on Monday 9 May.
