About

Craftmasters is delighted to be collaborating with like minded award winners Hedonism Wines and Capreolus distillery, offering visitors the opportunity to taste these extraordinary spirits from hand-crafted, solid silver beakers using centuries old techniques – a sublime experience!

The tasting, kindly hosted at Mayfair’s iconic Hedonism Wines, will run alongside hand engraving demonstrations from Cartier Award winner Karen Wallace and her QEST apprentice, Annabel Hood. Karen’s exceptional work ranges from traditional hand engraving to deep relief carving for silversmithing and gun engraving. Identified as being an endangered craft by the HCA Red List, and is included in the new School of Fine Metalworks’ syllabus (opens Autumn 2024)

Elegant, nuanced and deeply illustrative of the Cotswolds landscape where they grow, the Eaux de Vie made by Capreolus Distillery has a cult following amongst the world’s top sommeliers and bartenders. These fruit brandies are created through the careful hand grading of every piece of fruit, long wild fermentations and distillation, compressing the essence of up to 45kg fruit into each litre; they truly are perfumes whose elevation of normally hidden aromas connect us to parent plant, landscape and climate.

A range of Craftmasters pieces will be on display and available to order. All profits from Craftmasters Gallery support The School of Fine Metalwork (TSFM), a unique, new training facility opening later this year in the Cotswolds. TSFM will offer unrivalled skills training from Master Makers with a combined 1000 years of experience. To find out more visit www.craftmastersgallery.co.uk.
