Everything evolves – even for a hotel as renowned as The Dorchester. The Dorchester has undergone many alterations and changes during its nine decades in order to stay at the forefront of the luxury hotel market and to offer its guests the very best of everything. Now, the hotel is undergoing one of its most significant renovations since it first opened its doors in 1931 – a chance to reaffirm The Dorchester’s status as a world leader and reset its position in the London architectural landscape.

As part of the renovation, The Dorchester is collaborating with Paris-based art consultancy, VISTO, to commission original pieces by contemporary British artists for display in the newly designed public areas and rooms and suites.

VISTO designs memorable art collections around powerful, convincing stories. At this exclusive event, The Dorchester and VISTO reveal the narrative of the new artwork, a sneak peek of some of the pieces, the inspiration behind the collection, and an introduction to some of the talented artists commissioned for the project. Refreshments will be provided.
