Basma Al-Muqbil began her journey in the arts in 2014 as a certified trainer. She ventured into the art of carving on wood, mastering all its traditional engravings and Najdi doors in 2020. Basma excelled and specialized in the fields of resin art, wood carving, decoupage, and recycling. Some of her works have been acquired by the Qassim Region Principality, various government departments, private sectors, and notable figures and visitors.
Basma Al-Muqbil was awarded the Craftsmanship Youth Award 12 and was nominated by Rizn Art as a participating artist. She was also nominated as a participating artist and one of the pioneering artists in the Kingdom by the Graffiti Company. Her works were nominated on palm tree fronds as commemorative shields by the Ministry of Environment.
Basma Al-Muqbil received numerous certificates of excellence from various entities and achieved first place in the Intellectual Protection Award in the Qassim Region. The sculpture of the Kleeja was chosen as the best sculpture for Festival 14.
Basma Al-Muqbil had an impact in the training world, offering several decoupage courses in different centers, as well as resin art, carving, and recycling courses. She participated in various official events such as the Diriyah Equestrian Festival, the Kleeja and Dates Festival, and National Day celebrations.
Basma Al-Muqbil aspires to globally and locally promote Saudi heritage arts.
