Catherine Hammerton is a paper artist based in Wales. Catherine’s practice centres on botanical sculptures inspired by common lands reimagined from childhood. Using wild flora as visual metaphors, her work examines matrilineal lineages, our sense of community and belonging – hiraeth – alongside plant lore traditionally shared by women.
