Things from nature are the general theme that connects Marita’s soft textile sculptures. Elements of sea and land are seen through a magnifying glass and reinterpreted through textile techniques – knit and crochet, creating a confrontation between the tradition present in the techniques and the innovation of form, aesthetics, textures and colour.
