About
Nicola Mascall has been designing and making miniature tapestry since 1992. With a degree in art and design and a flair for needlework, she turned her passion for Doll’s house miniatures into a small business.
As her reputation has grown, she has gained the trust of many of the worlds top collectors and has successfully designed and stitched some truly ambitious tapestries including a replica of full size tapestry in Ham House, (for a miniature version by Mulvany & Rogers), Savage Manor, an imaginary Manor House in the Kentucky Museum of Miniatures & one of the wall hangings from the ‘Gallery of Tapestries’ in The Vatican City, which went on to win the prestigious Perfection in Miniature Awards (which Nicola has won twice).
You can see Nicola’s work at the Kensington Dollshouse Festival, May 15 & 16 at Kensington Town Hall.
