Step inside the majestic Temperate House to explore stunning artworks, graceful garden design and a celebration of Japan’s special flower, the chrysanthemum. Take a walk through the landscape and discover the elegant Japanese Gateway and historic Minka House as you marvel at Kew’s autumn colour.

On weekend afternoons throughout the festival, Japanese shodō master KASHUŪ presents giant calligraphy performances, demonstrating this age-old Japanese tradition – a discipline of beauty and a search towards pure form and a peace within.
