About
Join Borough Kitchen for this skills-based workshop at their Islington Square cook school. On Wednesday 6 October, they’re teaching an abridged version of their signature knife skills class, featured in the Evening Standard, BBC Good Food and more, with a focus on the craftsmanship behind London-made Blenheim Forge knives.
The class includes:
– An introduction to the range of knives at Borough Kitchen and the differences between European and Japanese craftsmanship
– A brief showcase of Blenheim Forge’s one-of-a-kind range of Japanese-style knives made from start to finish in Peckham
– A knife skills class led by the Borough Kitchen cook school director, instructing students how to use different kinds of knives while making a citrus salad that involves useful techniques like slicing and dicing onions, garlic and chilli, segmenting citrus and more
– A Borough Kitchen goody bag including treats from local suppliers
