Based in West London and specialising in functional objects and tableware, a lot of what influences Grace’s work is the raw clay and the firing process; her excitement over ceramics comes from the relationship between both of these elements and the ever-changing outcomes. Crafting simple, useful forms, her focus on the tactile nature of the clay is displayed through the often raw and rustic finishes of her pieces, using weighty grogged clay or rich rust-coloured glazes.
