Janet Watson has lived in East Anglia for many years. She studied printmaking at Norwich School of Art and Design, gaining a Master’s degree in Fine Art as a mature student. From her studio, filled with light and creativity, Janet has designed for Curator&Maker beautiful handmade blank books to be used as a diary, sketch book, visitors’ book or simply a notebook with bespoke linocut images of river and country scenes inspired by ‘The Wind in the Willows’, printing onto fabric, stitching the paper and cutting the board for the covers. Her books are hand bound and sewn and she prints her linocut images onto calico covers using a hand press.
